Welcome to Transformative Self-Care!

Hello and Welcome!  Whether you are a wellness warrior in training, or already have a well-developed personal practice, if you are interested in learning more about bodywork, holistic health practices, or creating meaningful transformation in your life, you have come to the right place! I have a passion for exploring the subjects of human health and potential, and am happy to offer practical information and effective tips that can empower you to make informed health and wellness choices that will transform your life in a way that honors your unique needs and desires!

Transformation, health and wellness, yoga,  Austin massage therapy and healing arts, Transformative Self-CareAs a licensed massage therapist and certified yoga instructor, I have gathered a useful wealth of knowledge and understanding of the body --of it's needs, it's subtle language, and its remarkable capacities to express and to heal--and its impact on the mind. 

And while I greatly look forward to talking specifically about bodywork and the profound healing experience that is unique to massage and bodywork such as yoga, I am equally called to explore the work of general wellness, of cultivating  a harmonious balance between all of the 7 Dimensions of Wellness: the Spiritual, Physical, Mental, Emotional, Occupational, Social, and Environmental aspects of life. True wellness is the ever-evolving experience of living more fully and loving life from the inside out!  

And as someone who has made a deliberate journey from a lifestyle that once left me unhealthy, unhappy, and generally dissatisfied to one that is increasingly joyful, abundant and whole, and as someone who continues to find reasons to heal and seek and grow even as I find greater inner peace and satisfaction, I am not only here to share my professional perspective on health and well-being, but my personal one as well.

I am excited to continue to learn and to share some of the insights, therapies, and practices that energize my own physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, therapies such as stretching, yoga, massage therapy and self-massage, breathwork, meditation, NLP and hypnosis, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique or Tapping), and affirmation, and practices such as cultivating balanced nutrition, mindfulness and meditation, conscious compassion, inspired action, positive self-talk, heart-centered communication, body awareness, and healthy embodiment.

Yoga is the best stress reliever, I try all stress reliever when I have a problem. If I am sad, I like to eat. Go out with friends, but those things will help me temporary only, but yoga is the best Therapy I got because It helps you to Improve Critical thinking Skills and Every breath you take just forget your problems and you will see the difference, Thank you for sharing this blog I hope a lot of people read about this
